Surface Preparation

For best results, adhesive and substrates should be above 60°F. All substrates must be structurally sound and free from grease, dust, dirt and flaking coatings. New plaster must be fully cured. All paneling must be conditioned for a minimum of 24 hours before adhesive installation.

For a waterproof bond, trowel a thin skim coat (using smooth side of trowel) of adhesive over the wall surface to 1/2" from each edge. With panel face down, spread adhesive over entire back surface with recommended trowel. Allow adhesive to become tacky by waiting ten minutes. Firmly press panel to wall making sure full contact has been made. As a precaution, edge bracing is advisable to overcome possible curling of the panel.

Other Substrates

Apply adhesive to the base substrate using the recommended trowel. Allow ten minutes for the adhesive to become tacky. Press substrate firmly in place to assure good contact. Severely warped substrates will require bracing until the adhesive sets.
