Concrete Repair (CR-805)

A weather-resistant, siliconized acrylic compound, Concrete Repair is ideal for driveway repair, plus repairing and sealing cracks and joints in other concrete and masonry surfaces. This paintable, easy-gunning adhesive sealant helps to prevent ice and water damage, and dries a similar gray to concrete an especially important benefit for driveway repair.

Recommended For:

driveway repair, repairing and sealing cracks in basement floors, sidewalks, carports, garage floors, steps, walls, thresholds and patios. Also recommended for sealing joints in concrete, cinder blocks, brick, stucco, stone and mortar.

NOT Recommended For:

fireplaces or for gaps larger than 1/2".

Surface Preparation

Make sure that all surfaces are clean, dry and structurally sound before applying this product. Fill any deep joints with solid filler to within 1/2" of surface. Perform driveway repair or other work using Concrete Repair only in dry weather at temperatures above 40°F. Do not use this product when rain is expected within 24 hours, or the effectiveness of your driveway repair or other project may be compromised.

Cartridge Application

Load CR-805 cartridge into standard caulk gun. Cut nozzle at 45° angle for desired bead size (marked on nozzle). Puncture inner seal with nail or wire. Apply continuous bead of CR-805 into gap, using uniform pressure to fill completely. Smooth over completely with wet, gloved finger or tool. Adhesive sealant skins over within 10 minutes and should be level with surface.

Painting Guidelines

CR-805 sets in 24 hours. Paintable with oil and latex paint. May be top-coated with concrete sealer to complete and protect driveway repair work.

Drying Time

Tack-free in 30 minutes. Sets in 24 hours. Completely dry in 5 days.

Cleanup

Use water to clean up CR-805 while wet. Dried sealant can be scraped off or cut away.
