Surface Preparation

Make sure that all surfaces are clean, dry and structurally sound before construction adhesive is applied. Do not apply to moist concrete or masonry. Note: One surface must be porous.

Product Application

Cut and pre-fit materials prior to installation. Insert tube into caulk gun. Cut nozzle to desired bead size marked on nozzle. Puncture inner seal with nail or wire. Construction adhesive should be gunned at a room temperature of 60°F or higher. Adhere all materials before construction adhesive skins over.

Bonding Material To Furring Strips Or Studs

Apply a zig-zag 1/4" bead of construction adhesive to each strip or stud to be covered by material. Position materials so edges meet at stud center. Press firmly into place against wall. Finishing nails are required.

Bonding Foamboard, Foamback Tub Surrounds, Panels, Corkboard, etc. To Flat Surfaces

Apply 1/4" beads of construction adhesive in vertical zig-zag pattern over entire substrate surface. Construction adhesive beads should be a maximum of 12" apart and within 1-1/2" of all edges. Bracing may be necessary until adhesive has set.

Drying Time

Working time up to 30 minutes. Dries in 24 hours. Fully cured in 28 days.

Cleanup

If the construction adhesive is wet, use water. If the construction adhesive has dried, use mineral spirits.
