Surface Preparation

Install permanent support system prior to the application of mirror adhesive. Surfaces must be clean, dry and structurally sound. For painted surfaces, lightly sand paint with coarse sandpaper.

Product Application

Insert tube of mirror adhesive into caulking gun, cut nozzle and puncture inner seal. Apply mirror adhesive to mirror back in 2 to 3 inch diameter globs at least 1/2" thick, per every square foot of mirror. Hang mirror on support and press into place within 10 minutes. The mirror adhesive should be less than 1/8" in thickness after installation. Do not remove mirror once in place. Tape or brace top of mirror to hold in place until mirror adhesive has set, usually 48 hours. Do not seal edges for one week.

Cleanup

Use mineral spirits to clean up both wet and dry mirror adhesive.
